Meet Our Team!

Bella McNeil, Designer

Bella was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama where she attended Faulkner University before moving to Africa to serve in missions. Upon her return to Montgomery, Bella developed a love for all things wedding while working for one of Montgomery's premiere wedding planners. Fate brought Bella and Amanda together when Bella was planning her own wedding and met with Amanda to discuss her flowers. The wedding planner Bella worked for had recently moved out of state and Amanda saw Bella's potential and offered her a position on her team. Bella is a natural floral designer who learns very quickly. Since becoming a part of the Flowers by Amanda family, Bella's floral knowledge and design skills have truly blossomed. She is also very fun to work with and keeps the floral design team organized and on track while providing a ton of laughs. When Bella is not designing florals or setting up weddings, she enjoys spending time with her best friend and husband, Ben, and their two children, Charlie and Jesse at church or on their cattle farm. Bella also enjoys all things homesteading, including growing and canning vegetables, raising chickens, and homeschooling her children.

Taylor Evans, Designer

Taylor couldn't help but develop a love for nature, plants, and especially beautiful flowers as she grew up working for her family's plant and produce business located in Montgomery, Alabama, Wright's Produce. After attending the University of Alabama, Taylor returned to her family's business to help with management and logistics. In her spare time, Taylor has always loved to play with cut flowers and design arrangements as gifts for her friends and family. Taylor joined the Flowers by Amanda Team in 2022 and has proven to be a natural and talented floral designer who is fantastic at making sure that every single detail of every single arrangement is perfect. In May of 2023, Taylor married the love of her life, Cody, surrounded by tons of colorful blooms and her friends and family.

Steven Rylant, Financial Director, Event Set-up Team

Steven grew up learning all about the floral industry as his mother was a florist and floral shop owner in Montgomery, Alabama where he worked while attending Auburn University to obtain his Accounting degree. Steven's mother was an incredibly talented and creative designer who could literally make anything beautiful. It was she who took Amanda under her wing and taught her all she knew about flowers and design and encouraged Amanda to open her own floral design company. Steven is incredibly handy and has done everything from building arches and boxwood walls to designing flowers, assisting in set-up and takedown, helping with day-of coordination, and keeping the Flowers by Amanda studio clean and tidy. He is also a talented accountant who works for the State Department of Education and helps keep up with Flowers by Amanda's finances and taxes. When Steven is not working, he enjoys duck and deer hunting, riding ATVs, and spending time with his wife, children, dogs, and friends.
